Oh how I miss you not
enemy of my soul
father of all lies
destroyer of innocence
And oh how you try to pull me away
from light
from Truth
from love
from liberty
But I will not have any of you anymore
My eyes have been opened
Your chains have been severed
His blood has been spilled
and poured over me
He’s yanked me from your grip
I am forever free
Who’s laughing now?

Brilliant 🙂 like the name as well 🙂
Haha. Thanks AB. I appreciate it.
Blessings =)
I have known some men whose attributes fit that poem to a tee!
Really? Doesn’t sound too good eh. By the way Richard, I have an almost 7 year old son with Asperger’s Syndrome and he is very audio visual. He saw your blog while I was reading it the other day and absolutely loved your theme, with the fish and the hook. He goes around the house all morning saying, “Fish eat worms?”, “Fish eat worms.” Hahahaha. Gotta love it. Your blog is reaching out even to the really young ones.
Blessings and thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it.
=)
Not a ramble but the absolute truth and there is only one. Thanks for sharing.
Here’s a limerick (I think or is it a Haiku)? –
Looking for answers on a one-way street
Fusing into melting not losing a single beat
Signifies longing for a stimuli explosion
In a solitary tweet; Verifies satisfaction from a universal emotion.
Hey there Terry, wow. You’re a poet eh. I had no idea. How long have you been writing for?
Bless ya =)
Been writing most of my life. Have three books with titles that need some body. Titles are My Parents Grew Up Mon, I Am Stereo and My Kids Are Digital and Marriage (and Divorce) Turned My Life Around, My Kids Turned My Life Upside Down:-). Thanks for the nice reply.
I had no idea. Wow. And thank you for your replies.
=)
Excellent poem, Staci! It expresses so much truth in a compact, powerful way.
Oh, thank you so much David. I really appreciate your input. I generally come up with stuff like this on the spur of the moment. Or at least the idea. Just like in my song writing. Sudden inspiration. like a thought while out on a run. Or while in the shower. Ok, to be more ‘spiritual’ the “Worry” one was birthed during a quiet time with JC.
Bless you =)
Love this… Awesome poem!
Thank you so much Secret Angel. I really appreciate your comment.

Thanks for leading me to this poem, Staci. Very nice! 🙂
