The End of the Line

Old train

I’ve reached the end of the line

Say goodbye to space and time

Ran out of gas, broken down

I’m off to meet the renown

I was invited by Elizabeth from Tea and Paper to join the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge: “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”. Elizabeth posts photos, poems, artsy stuff and other things on her lovely blog. Please drop by and check it out.

The above photo was taken close to my house. I thought it was a bit odd for an old non-working locomotive to be hiding away in the trees. The poem is another Tanaga.

I would like to nominate Audrey, from Oldest Daughter Red Headed Sister to participate in this challenge. Audrey finds inspiration in anything and everything.

    1. Heyyyyyy Benjamin, how are you? It’s been a while eh. My move left me sooooo busy that I hadn’t been on WordPress much. Still settling in, but things are slowly coming together.
I’ve been thinking of you recently also.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
      🙂

      1. Yes, it’s been too long. I hope you’re doing well and the move is starting to slow down. I’ve only been floating around a little myself on WordPress. Busy with words and thinking, and coloring my soul. Always thinking of you, too and your words. You’re welcome 🙂

      2. Awwwww, you’re so sweet Benjamin. And I like that: “colouring your soul”. We need that, don’t we?
The move has slowed down, but I’m still a bit overwhelmed with all that needs to be done. I guess it will take some time.
        🙂

    1. Thank you so much Trini. I really liked the idea of this one. Actually, today while I was driving back from town, I noticed two men with equipment there. I don’t know if they were trying to move it, or what they were doing. I guess if they were trying to move it, I will know soon eh.
I played around with photo editing a bit to get this type of light. I’m so pleased you like it.
How are you, by the way? It’s been a while. I was off of WordPress for a bit because of how crazy my life was with our moved and all.
      Blessings

      1. I am fine, it is really really hot here in India now, and we have had a couple of earth quakes so that has bee scary. But next week I am going on Holiday to Norway so I am excited about that!! 🙂 ❤

      2. Oh, I can imagine. I have never been in India during the summer, but when I was in Jaipur from September to December, it was very hot then. Also in Calcutta in September. It must be very hot right now them. I hope you have a lovely holiday in Norway Trini. It will be so nice to be at your birth home. How long will you be going for? I remember last year you had some upsets during your time there. I certainly hope that this time only offers peace and relaxation.
        🙂 ❤

    1. Hehehe. Yup, I know. I knew you would be a good candidate for this because it’s already a part of you, isn’t it.
      Thanks Audrey.
      🙂

    1. Hey there Soapie. So nice to see you here. And yes, “off to meet the renown” would mean to meet our Maker. You hit the nail on the head.
      Hope you’re well.
      🙂
