Morning Coffee Thoughts – Take 2

I am posting this again, because it seems like WordPress is up to some funky stuff with my posts. Ever since the update, my posts aren’t going into the Reader. Let’s see if it works this time.

Mixed media and thoughts

Just something I wrote during my morning quiet time a little while back. I saw this watercolour technique on Youtube and wanted to try it out. I like to mix art and words.

    1. Thank you David. I love the mixed media. I’m not the greatest artist, but I can’t contain myself. I need to try. Hehehe.
      🙂

  1. I hope that your WP issues get solved quickly, Staci! In the meantime, I’ll be sure to visit daily to make sure that I don’t miss your posts. Wonderful words, with a beautiful watercolor! I’m not sophisticated in art interpretation, but there’s something about your watercolor that makes me think of France. Well done!

    1. Thanks so much Rob. Yes, I will try that link you passed on to me. Hahaha, daily? Well, I don’t post daily, but thank you, my friend. That’s so sweet of you.
Interesting, France? Now that I think of it, I can see why you say that. The whole mixed media girl thing does seem to have a ‘France’ feel to it.
Thanks again Rob, and please take care and have a great weekend.
Are you picketing? How are things going with work?
      🙂

    1. Awwww, thanks Richard. I’m not much of an artist really, but I’m trying. I just love the mixed media. Hehe.
      Have a great weekend.
      🙂

  2. Oooooh!! You are such a wonderful artist!! 🙂 i loooooove it so so much! 🙂 I did not see this post in the reader before, so I am so happy to see it now!! 🙂 ❤

    1. Awwww, thank you so much Trini. You are so kind and sweet. I’m trying, and having a blast. That is, when I can find the time. Hehehe.
Oh yes, the Reader… Hmmmm… I’m frustrated with WordPress at the moment. Many of my posts are not showing up for some reason. it seems that when I post on Fridays, it doesn’t show up in the Reader. If I post on Monday it does. And today it did, so maybe I just won’t post on Fridays anymore.
Hope you are well, my friend.
      Hugs. 🙂 ❤

    1. Hahaha. So you have had problems too eh Natalie. It seems that when I post of Fridays, it doesn’t show up in the Reader. I think it shows up in some people’s Readers, but I tried various times to open up the Reader and refresh it and it never showed up. Hmmmmm. I agree with you. They should just leave it alone. Fix the problems and then leave it alone. Hahaha.
Thanks Natalie. It worked on my end, and hopefully on other’s as well.
      Hugs and love,
      Staci 🙂 ❤
p.s. Is your migraine gone now? Hope so.

      1. Yes, that one is gone at least for the moment. I’m having more headaches again even with the daily meds that I take for to stop them, and I think maybe it’s what they’ve given me for the restless legs syndrome. So I hope I haven’t just traded one problem off for the renewal of another. I see the neurologist on the 27th and I’ll talk to him about it then. Staci, when I was 25 I started having daily headaches and at least once a week those developed into full blown migraines. So over the course of the last nearly 50 years, they’ve tried a lot of meds to try to help. The one before this one I’m taking now may actually have been one of the contributing factors in my having a stroke. But the one I’m taking now they’ve assured me will not do that, and it was working fairly well up until they started trying to treat this restless legs symdrome. I’m thrilled that for the most part that has stopped, but I don’t want these headaches to get worse again either. So pray that it will all be resolved somehow. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

      2. Oh my gosh Natalie. That’s so rough. All this time? I can’t imagine that. I will pray for you Natalie. I’m sure it can’t be easy. I have chronic pain in my shoulders, neck and upper back, but what I go through doesn’t even come close to what you experience. I’m so sorry, my friend. I hope and pray all will get better.
        Hugs and love
        Staci ❤

  3. Love the art, love the words! It’s all beautiful, Staci. WP can be a pain sometimes but after an upgrade everything should work smoother, not the other way around. I hope all gets worked out soon. I’m glad you re-published this post, it’s great. 😀 xx

    1. Awwww, thanks Vashti. I’m so glad you like this.
Yea, that’s what I figure too. WP should work better after an upgrade, but it seems it only messed things up, at least for me.
Thanks again, and have a great Sunday evening and start to a new week.
      🙂

      1. Thanks Vashti. It looks like my last post showed in the Reader, but I’m still missing certain notifications. We’ll see how things go.
        Have a great weekend (almost).
        🙂

    1. Awwwwww Benjamin. You are too kind. Thank you so much for such sweet words. I had a nice evening. Hope you did too.
Please have a great week, my friend and take care.
      🙂 ❤

    1. Oh thank you so much Saaranshsinghpundir. What an encouraging comment. I’m so glad you like this.
      Have a wonderful week.
      🙂

  4. Staci, lovely poem and your art work complements your words so beautifully! I find the following lines perfectly penned creating a very vivid image,

“When time and space escape me
and the silver chord is severed”

Please take good care and enjoy the rest of your week!

    Warm wishes,
    Pepperanne

    1. Thank you so much Pepperanne. I’m so glad you like this. And I’m glad you liked those specific lines.
You also take good care and have a wonderful week.
      Blessings,
      Staci 🙂 ❤

    1. Thanks Alok. I like to create ‘intentional art’. The poetry or words must marry the art piece for me. If not, it’s just a nice thing to look at. I’m so glad you like this.
      Have a great week.
      🙂
