Off to Rio de Janeiro for an arts conference. Be back on Sunday.

Don’t mind my horrible haircut I had in the beginning of the year ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Have fun! I don’t think that haircut bad; you look nice with short hair. Plus, that dress looks nice on you. And that scenery is wonderful! Have a great week!

    1. Hahaha. Thank you so much Benjamin. You’re so sweet. I just didn’t like how short he did it. This was back in February when I took my mom came to visit. I showed her Rio and Buenos Aires. I have much better photos, but they are with my mom. I’ve been trying to get her to send them to me by email, but she hasn’t yet.
      Have a great week Benjamin.

    1. Awwwww Sibella. You are soooo sweet. Thank you so much. I didn’t like that hair cut, but heck, it grows back right. Have a great week, my friend.

      1. You’re so welcome, Staci! I like the heart cut. It goes well with the shape of your face and yes, it grows back. My hair grows fast…

Have a lovely week too and I can’t wait to hear about the conference! Love ya! Hugzzz! โค

      2. Thanks Sibella. Hahaha. I’m sure it will be a blast.
I hope I’ll get some internet access there.
        Love ya too sweetie.
        hugs and blessings.

  3. Beautiful Staci! Have the very best time possible. Can’t wait to see how this trip sparks your creativity. Enjoy.

    1. Awwww, thanks Wendy. The conference is held by our organization. It should be great. I’m really looking forward to it. I just hope that there is child care.

    1. Heyyyyy Indah. Thank you so much. This photo was taken back in February when I was there with my mom. I’m sure it will be a great conference. And I’ll have to take some photos when we pass through Petropolis. I think you’d like the photos from there. There are museums and stuff. If you get the chance, check out Petropolis on Google.

  4. Have an absolutely tremendous time Staci. Whenever I now see a picture of the Christ the Redeemer statue, I now think of the stuntman Felix Baumgartner, who base jumped off of it. It would be SO cool to see in person though! ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Awwwww, thank you so much Carl. I haven’t done much singing lately, but have written parts of various songs that I hope to finish and record. We’ll see. As for this week though, I am participating in an arts in missions conference. Hoping it will be good and that I’ll take something away with me from it.
        ๐Ÿ˜€

      2. Nice! It does sound like a cool conference. I’m sure you will indeed walk away with something. Also trusting this will give a physical, mental and spiritual boost, and you’ll walk away with renewed vigor. Always so important to keep relevant in ministry, and these conferences help so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

      3. Heyyyyyyy Carl, you are soooooo right. It was an awesome workshop. Yes, it was a workshop and not really a conference. I did walk away with renewed vigor and much to think and pray about for some future challenges. My husband was one of the speakers at the workshop and people really loved what he was saying.
By the way, I did see that you mentioned me in your blog. I’m on my way over there now to check out the post. Thank you so much. I’m honored.
        ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Awwwwwww Trini. You are sooooooo sweet. Thank you so much. Big hugs to you too.

    1. Awwwww, thanks so much Himali. Actually, it’s not really a holiday. It is out of our regular routine, and I’m sure the kids consider it a holiday, but we are at an arts conference that our organization is heading up.
Have a great rest of the week, my friend.

p.s. I will send the lyrics to you soon. Probably when I get back home ok.

    1. Heyyyyyyy Saaransh, sorry for the delay in my reply. As you know, I was traveling this past week. Yes, actually is was an arts workshop. It was awesome. We had lectures in the morning and evening, and in the afternoons we were in groups for brainstorming and creation.
Hahaha. Thanks so much. It’s a bit longer now, but still somewhat the same style.
Have a great week, my friend.
      ๐Ÿ™‚

      ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

      1. I definitely would have–I have to find something like this in my area. Thanks Staci for sharing ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Ohhh, haha. I did enjoy myself. It was awesome actually. I came out of it with fresh vigor and vision.
Thanks Vashti. Hope you had a great weekend and that you have a wonderful week.

      2. Ugh…I’m so sorry I haven’t had a chance to be on WP or FB the past couple of days so I totally missed your reply to my comment. I’m so sorry Staci! What does your weekend look like?

    1. I had a great trip, thanks Elizabeth. The workshop was great, and even sparked some interest in something that I had never thought of. Hmmmm… We’ll see.
      ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Sounds like you had a great weekend at the arts conference, Staci. Creative workshops and conferences are always a great way to get excited about our art form. Look forward to hearing more about your experience. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Awwwwww, thank you so much Saaransh. I’m honored that you would consider me. I have actually made my blog an award-free blog, because of how limited my time is. I used to do them, but I just can’t dedicate the time to them, in order to do them justice. Thank you so much though, my friend. I’m so glad you thought of me.
      ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

      1. Now I get why I didn’t found any award post there …lolzzzz ๐Ÿ˜€ ….I respect ur views and appreciate u letting me know ๐Ÿ™‚ ……..however I reckon u wud bring justice to the next piece of art u post ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. Hahaha. Yup.
Awwww, I certainly hope I do bring the next piece justice.
        THanks so much Saaransh.
        ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Awwwww, thank you so much Heena. You’re so sweet. So sorry it’s taken me a while to respond. I was away and then sooooo busy catching up on things.
Hope you’ve gotten off to a good week.
      ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. You’re welcome, Staci! And no worries… it’s taken me also a while to respond now, lol! Good to connect with you again ๐Ÿ™‚
        I hope you’re having a great day!

    1. Awwwwwww AB. You always say such nice things. This cut was actually at the beginning of the year, and the photo is from February when I took my mom to Rio. I think I look too much like a kid with that type of cut. Hahaha. Thank you so much for your sweet words.
      Have a great week.
