I will be taking a couple of months off in order to work on a couple of projects. I should be back sometime in September. See you all then.

I moved to Brazil in 2002, married an awesome “Baiano”, Daniel, and we have two adorable kiddies, Caue and Hannah. I am certified in fitness and nutrition and conducted physical conditioning classes while working with an arts and evangelism team and schools. I am also certified in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners).     1. Hi Mia, I am so sorry for taking so long to get back to you on other comments. My week has been crazy with my husband traveling and all sorts of things going wrong. Stress levels have almost peaked. Hahaha. I will get back to you later today, and although I am taking a break, I will be visiting you weekly.

    1. Heyyyyyy Saaransh. Yea, it’s probably going to extend somewhat until next year. I will be here a bit, but I am going to travel for three months, which makes it difficult to be regular. I will be here until November thought, and will be visiting you, my friend. I super appreciate you.

        And not sure what type it is – but I have one tip – be sure to add enough perosnal takes – I am sure you will….
        I say this because this past week I read the daily devotional a from “duck dynasty” stars / and I only skimmed a couple dozen – and they are kind of b-flat! Too sterile and missing perosnal touches – if that makes sense?

      2. Heyyyyy Yvette. So sorry for taking so long to respond. I’ve been super busy. Apart from my book, I am involved in a one-month long intensive English seminar we’ve been holding here at our base.
        The book is actually a devotional. And it’s all based on personal experience actually. It’s going to have my little art pieces and poetry, and then a brief devotional to go along with it. It’s going to be in ‘chapters’ of the ‘Color me’ girls I’ve been working on.
        Anyhow, hope you are well and enjoying your summer.

      3. Thanks – and I knew it was a devotional – but not sure what kind exactly – and I have prayed for you a few times – and actually you have been with me every day this past week – well – through your music you have been!
        And I have told you before that only one other time have I enjoyed an album this much – it was Jamie Smith’s music back in 2005 and it was awesome – I wore out her songs – but it was what my spirit was soaking up at the time – and I actually gave a few of her CDs away and folks were like “it is nice” – but was not the same as my riveting enjoyment!
        Anyhow – here we are In 2016 – and while I have had some over played playlists (and love my spouse’s stuff) -I have not enjoyed a full album like this since ’05!
        I will do a formal review later – promise
        But my very favorite song is “pare pra ouvir” and it is really good in headphones or in the car!
        I like the other songs s
        Too – for diverse reasons – but your voice is that one is like a paintbrush – and the mix of languages is tasty – I have played it for a few teens and there is silence when it is on!
        Truly a special song.
        Ok – enough here A but thx for he reply and I knew you were on break so no worries on getting back with another reply! Cool?

You know, sometimes you do something and really don’t know if it’s ever going to make a difference, but you do it anyway. Even if it’s made a difference in one person’s life, it makes it all worth it, right 😉
