The Sedoka poetry form is made up of two Katautas. The Katauta poetry form is a three-lined poem consisting of 19 to 21 syllables. The first line has five syllables, and the second and third lines have seven. Both the Katauta and the Sedoka are Japanese poetry forms and do not need to rhyme.
