Despair (Loop)



This poem is in response to the weekly poetry prompt from The Reverie Journal. Our prompt was the following wordle:


I really like the Loop poetry form, so I thought I’d give it a go with this one.

Although this is in response to a prompt, I would still like to throw some questions out there.

Do you have any regrets from the past? How do you deal with them? Do you let them get the best of you, or do you forgive yourself, try to make amends and learn from them?

The loop poetry form is exactly as it suggests. The last word of each line becomes the first line in the next.
